Karen Jordan
Fire and Water
2002
Infochrome print (diptych), Edition of 25

30 x 20

Over the last decade-and-a-half, KAREN JORDAN has developed a unique approach to the photographic medium as an art form. Her photographs have been described as cutting-edge, "media-ambiguous" imagery.  The large-scale, elegant, dramatic,  abstract landscapes sometime appear to have been painted, rather than photographed. Unmanipulated and uncropped, the images are exactly as they appeared in nature.  Both panels are from Key West, Florida.
