Cosmic Views, Recent Paintings by Janet Sawyer

This exhibition focuses on Sawyer’s current series of observed and imagined astronomical phenomena. Also included are three paintings from the Willow series which she began after her previous New York exhibition of marine paintings.

Janet Sawyer lives in Montauk, N.Y. Her work is in public collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and many corporate and private collections. She has had 15 solo shows in New York, Paris and other places. Her work has been reviewed in the New York Times, Art In America, Art News,Arts Magazine, Ms. Magazine, Where New York Magazine, and other publications.
