35 new drawings by Thomas Nozkowski. Working abstractly, Nozkowski has created a body of work inspired by a trip to Los Angeles. Arranged in groupings of seven, the images are drawn from the natural and the man-made world, personal experience and historical knowledge of this city. These non-representational images often have an animated, biomorphic quality. Creating diverse compositions, reinventing the 11 by 17 inch rectangle and generating a wide range of shapes and colors, Nozkowski is prompting a visual dialog with the viewer that has no end in sight.
